Roselle's Shared Cost Parkway Tree Program is back! This 50/50 cost sharing program gives residents the opportunity to purchase a tree for their parkway at half of the cost, with the Village paying for the other half. This is a wonderful way to add to the beauty and enhance the property values of our community.
Residents may purchase one or two trees, depending upon the length of the parkway. Trees should be spaced approximately 40 feet apart and at least 10 feet from a driveway. Trees are available in 2.5 inches in diameter. If you wish to have the tree planted in a certain area of your parkway, please mark the spot with paint or with a stake. The Village Forester will check locations to determine if the area can be used for tree planting.
Tree orders and checks made payable to the Village of Roselle must be received by August 31, 2017. Forms and checks may be dropped off or mailed to Roselle Village Hall, C/O Parkway Tree Program, 31 S. Prospect St., Roselle, IL 60172.
The Parkway Tree Replacement form is available here for download. Orders will be filled on a first come, first served basis. If you have any questions, please call Public Works at (630) 671-2368.
