With the allowance of bars and restaurants opening with limited outdoor seating as part of Governor Pritzker’s Restore Illinois plan, the Village of Roselle is accepting temporary outside seating applications from Roselle restaurants. The no-fee application process is designed to allow the Village to best assist Roselle restaurants as they consider outdoor serving options, with the goal to make the transition as quickly and smoothly as possible.
Mayor Andy Maglio signed Executive Order 2020-09 on May 28 suspending the enforcement of ordinances that would otherwise prohibit the sale of food and alcohol in alfresco dining areas, paving the way for the temporary outside seating application process to begin.
