Overview
Volunteerism is an ever growing national spirit. The President of the United States called all citizens to action in 2001 to become part of the process.
The Volunteers in Police Service Program is a national initiative sprung from the Citizen Corps movement. The Roselle Police Department is looking for residents who want to give back to their community through volunteerism.
We are currently accepting applications for VIPS. A requirement for joining VIPS is successful completion of the Roselle Citizens Police Academy within the past 5 years and are 21 years of age or older.
If you have interest in joining VIPS, please contact Sergeant Rachel Bata at rbata@roselle.il.us or call (630) 671-4096.
