Hazardous Waste

The Village’s waste hauling vendor, Flood Brothers, offers hazardous waste collection on a per-charge basis. Customers will need to call Flood Brothers 24 hours in advance at (630) 261-0400 to arrange for these services.

Latex Paint Disposal

For disposal of small amounts of latex paint, it can be dried with an absorbent like sand, sawdust, or kitty litter and then placed out with regular garbage with the lid off the can. For large amounts of latex paint, store for future use.

One-Day Collection

The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency coordinates several one-day household hazardous waste collections in the Spring and Fall. One-day collection hours from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on these dates.
