Commuter Parking

Commuter Map Update 11.2023 Web Opens in new windowCommuter Parking Lots
There are three parking lots available for commuters:

  1. North Lot – Accessible from Lawrence Ave
  2. South Lot – Accessible from Irving Park Rd
  3. Bokelman Lot – Accessible from Hattendorf Ave. and Bokelman St.

The Roselle Metra Station is a stop on the Milwaukee District/West Line, with service to and from Union Station in downtown Chicago.

Parking in the south side parking lot at the Schaumburg Metra Station (2000 S. Springinsguth Rd.) is located in Roselle, but is owned by Metra and operated and maintained by SP Plus Parking. Parking on the south side of the railroad tracks can be purchased by using the parking kiosks on the south side, by using the Park Mobile App or calling Park Mobile at (877) 727-5004. If you are calling or using the app, make sure you use the proper zone number (218) and remember your space number. Questions regarding the south parking lot spaces can be answered by calling SP Plus Parking at (773) 714-9262.

Open Pay-By Plate Parking System

A pay-by-license-plate system at the Roselle Metra Station allows permit and daily fee commuters to park in any spot in designated lots, without the need to display a permit placard. This system uses technology that makes it easier and more efficient for commuters to pay for parking at the Roselle Metra Station, and for the Village’s parking enforcement efforts.

Daily Fee Parking

  • Cash payment rate: $2.00
  • Credit/Debit payment rate:  $2.30

Daily fee parking is available in any open spot at the North and South Lots adjacent to the Depot. Commuters use their license plate information to pay for parking on the Parkmobile website, using the Parkmobile app, by calling (877) 727-5004, or at the kiosk (cash and credit accepted) at the depot. Use zone number 931.

Convenience charges apply for phone and online payments. More information about online payments is available on the Parkmobile website.

Permit Parking

Monthly and quarterly parking permits are available for purchase online for all three parking lots. Parking permit holders may park in any available spaces at the North/South Lots without needing to display a placard, since license plate information is already on file with the Village.

Commuters can pick their own time frame (when the month or quarter starts and ends) so please choose an appropriate custom date when purchasing permits. Commuters may use separate vehicles for the same permit, but must log in and update their account with the license plate they are using for the day.
