The Village of Roselle is turning 100 this year, and the Roselle Park District is helping us plan a birthday celebration for the entire community to enjoy. Please mark your calendar for October 8 for the biggest birthday party of the year at the Roselle Founders Day Festival
Founders Day Festival will be held on the grounds of Clauss Recreation Center, 555 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., and will include fun activities like a zip line, Euro Bungy, a rock climbing wall, a bounce house, hay rides, a corn maze, pumpkin decorating, a balloon artist, airbrush tattoos, food trucks, a beer and wine garden (hosted by the Roselle Lions Club. Lynfred Winery and Pollyanna Brewing Co.), touch-a-truck, live music by Final Say & 16 Candles and a fireworks display at dusk.
Admission is free. Seating will be limited for the concert and the fireworks, please plan to bring portable chairs.
Touch-a-Truck and food trucks, including Aunt Tina’s Sound Bites, Billy Bricks, Hoot Dogs, Guapo Taco, EJ Pierogi, Dairy Queen, and Delish Cakes will be lined up along Bryn Mawr Ave. during the festival, and the fireworks display will launch from Lake Park High School west campus at approximately 6:45 p.m.
