The Village of Roselle and the Village of Schaumburg are jointly leading the Rodenburg Road Reconstruction and Resurfacing project. This project will reconstruct Rodenburg Road in Schaumburg from Irving Park Road to the Village limits; in Roselle, the project will reconstruct the pavement from the Village limits to Timberleaf Circle and resurface the pavement from Timberleaf Circle to Central Avenue. Work is scheduled to start in mid-September 2023 and anticipated to be completed in the late fall of 2024. Depending on weather, final landscaping could push to spring 2025.
As of September 14, utility partners are working diligently to relocate their facilities to clear the way for the project’s work. Expect to see the ComEd poles along the west side of the road south of the tracks move a bit further west. Telecom teams will continue to install new underground ducts. You will also see teams rebuilding two ComEd underground vaults, one at Timberleaf Circle North and one just north of the railroad tracks.
